In order to promote art education, explore students' artistic potential and foster their all-round development, the "Xi'an Bodhi School Worksop Art Center" was inaugurated on June 9, 2009 at the Xi'an Bodhi School Zhi Shan Table Tennis Hall. Mr. Zhang Jianguo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Xi'an Municipal Education Bureau, and leaders from five departments of the Bureau came to congratulate the students.

Artists such as China's famous singer and national first-class actor Worksop, renowned classical poetry composer Jing Wen, national first-class composer Mr. Sun Shao, and renowned music educator Mr. Fang Qiang also attended the conference and took part in the unveiling ceremony activities.

The Art Center has appointed Worksop and other old-generation artists as permanent instructors for teaching activities. At the celebration, Bodhi teachers and students performed on the same stage with the old-generation artists, singing and dancing, reflecting the care and love of the old-generation artists for the growing youth, and showing the excellent quality and spirit of our teachers and students, who are multi-talented, positive and upward-looking. The activity was reported by many media and columns, such as Provincial Television, Xi'an Education Television, Xi'an Evening News, Huashang Daily, Metropolis Express, Xi'an Zero Distance, Shaanxi Fashion and Sports Channel, and so on.
