On July 16, 2009, the summer English summer camp jointly organized by our school and the Shaanxi UNESCO Association was successfully concluded. This summer camp lasts for ten days, and the campers come from some elementary and middle schools in Xi'an. The school specially invites American language education experts to give lectures throughout the course, and each class is equipped with excellent bilingual teachers as teaching assistants to ensure barrier free communication between teachers and students.
In terms of teaching, thematic interaction, immersive situational teaching, and a fully enclosed pure English environment have been adopted to enhance students' English listening and speaking abilities. During the ten days, the small campers studied, swam, and played table tennis together... They spent every happy day, every harvest day, and every safe day.
During the closing report performance, the outstanding performance of the campers received waves of applause from the parents present. After the meeting, a representative of the parents said in an interview with reporters, "The child's participation in the summer camp not only improved their English listening and speaking abilities, but also pleased to see that their self-care ability has been enhanced, they love learning more, are more sensible, and have made great progress in all aspects.
