School Introduction

The fifth school (second kindergarten) of the group is preparing to open.

On September 28th, the 30th anniversary celebration of Bodi School was grandly held at the International Conference Center of the High tech Zone, with over 3000 teachers and students gathered together to celebrate the grand occasion. The school anniversary celebration received 189000 live broadcasts on the antenna.

In September, Chairman Liu Yubo was appointed as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Shaanxi Private Education Association.

The first National Conference of Private High School Principals and the Establishment Conference of the High School Branch of the China Private Education Association was held in Shanghai in November. Chairman Liu Yubo was elected as the Vice Chairman of the First Council of the High School Branch of the China Private Education Association.

In August, Bodi student and table tennis player Peng Weinan won the team championship in table tennis at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, ranking third in singles. In September, he was awarded the National May Day Labor Medal.

In September, the fourth school of the group, Xi'an Lianhu Dejie Experimental Primary School, was established, covering an area of 54 acres. It is a high-quality and international school jointly established by Bodi Education Group and Beijing Normal University Education and Training Center as the "Beijing Normal University Basic Education Experimental School".

The 2019 Shaanxi Provincial Table Tennis Championships for Primary and Secondary School Students, hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and organized by the Provincial Student Sports Association and Xi'an Bodi School, was held in our school in October. This competition attracted 321 athletes from 66 representative teams across the province. This competition has been hosted multiple times by our school before.

In October, Catherine Pierce, the economic officer of the Economic Department of the US Embassy in China, and Su Yu, an economic expert, visited Bodhi for exchange visits.

In March, Science and Technology Second Road was opened, and the campus was divided into two parts, making transportation more convenient and the environment more beautiful. The school area has become the core area of Xi'an's high-tech development, and the upgrading and transformation of the fishy area has brought new opportunities for the school's development.

In March, the "Enhancing Educational Leadership" training course for international quality improvement at York University in Canada was successfully held at our school. Professor Lillian from the University of York in Canada, as well as over 50 principals and management from primary and secondary schools in Shenzhen, Anhui, Ningxia, Jilin, and our city, attended the conference.

In December, the Xicheng High Speed Railway opened for operation, which is the first high-speed railway in China to cross the north-south boundary of the Qinling Mountains. Bai Xiongxiong, a 2004 graduate of our high school, was interviewed by CCTV as the person in charge of the construction site.

The 2017 Chinese High School American Debate League Xi'an Regional Competition kicked off at our school in November. 11 pairs of outstanding debaters from our high school international class competed with outstanding debaters from 81 prestigious schools, including Peking University Affiliated Middle School, Tianjin Nankai Middle School, Tianjin Yinghua International School, and Xi'an Jiaotong University Affiliated Middle School, achieving excellent results.

In June, Wang Ruoxi won the first place in the Shaanxi Provincial Fine Arts Joint Examination with an excellent score of 275 out of 300.

In March, our school won the third prize in the primary school group dance competition at the 15th "Spring Sprout Cup" primary and secondary school student art competition hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education. Two students from Bodi Elementary School won the first prize in primary school keyboard and primary school string music respectively.

The 2016 China Korea Middle School Student Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, jointly organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and the Gangwon Province Department of Education in South Korea in October, was successfully held at our school.

In November, our school was officially listed as a partner school of the University of Massachusetts International College, becoming the source of students for the University of Massachusetts.

In October, the Central Propaganda Department awarded Yun Enfeng, the founder of the "Yun Enfeng Art Center" at Bodi School, the title of "Role Model of the Times".

In September, the third school of the group, Xi'an Bodi Evergrande City Primary School, was established, and the school quickly became a regional hot school.

In March, the Shaanxi Department of Education led a delegation of Oregon principals from the United States to visit our school.

In December, our school was selected as one of the first Sino US "Thousand Schools Together" project schools by the Ministry of Education.

In September, the President of the National College of Arts and Sciences in the United States and the Vice President of the International Affairs Department of the school visited our university.

In June, our school was awarded the position of Vice President of UNESCO in Shaanxi Province.

In November, our school successfully passed the review of the American College Council and became an AP Code School under the American College Council.

In April, a group of 80 teachers and students from Sydney New City Art High School in Australia came to our school for art exchange.

On April 28th, the 20th anniversary celebration of our school was grandly held.

In December, the China Private Education Association elected Chairman Liu Yubo as the Vice Chairman of the Professional Committee for Primary and Secondary Schools. Our school was selected as the first batch of "National Private Characteristic Demonstration Schools".

Our school students Yang Qian and Lian Hao, who participated in the 2012 London Paralympics in September, have returned with honors. Yang Qian won first place in the women's team table tennis competition and second place in the singles competition, while Lian Hao won first place in the men's team table tennis competition.

In April, our school was rated as "exemplary organization of Health in Shaanxi Province".

In February, the second school of the group, Kabuyushang Kindergarten in Xi'an High tech Zone, opened and was rated as a first-class kindergarten in Xi'an in 2018.

In December, our school was awarded the title of "2011 Shaanxi Quality Education Most Comprehensive Strength Brand School" and "2011 Shaanxi Education Elite Team". Chairman Liu Yubo was also awarded the title of "2011 Shaanxi Education Most Influential Principal".

In September, Yan Yixin, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Zhigong Party, and He Xiaolin, Vice Chairman of the Xi'an Municipal Committee of the Zhigong Party, visited our school for inspection and research.

In May, the China Private Education Association awarded our school the title of "National Advanced School for Characteristic Construction".

In January, our school was selected as the "National Advanced Collective in Private Education" by the Teacher Development Foundation of the Ministry of Education. President Liu Yubo was awarded the title of "National exemplary individual in Private Education".

In December, Chairman Liu Yubo and Principal Yang Fengyu attended the China Private Education Development Conference held in Henan. Chairman Liu Yubo was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Special Committee.

In October, our school was awarded the honorary title of "Xi'an Science and Technology Education Demonstration School" by the Xi'an Association of Science and Technology.

In June, Wang Konggu won the first place in the national art major entrance examination at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.

In June, the first professional youth diving club in Northwest China settled at Bodi School, marking the official entry of leisure diving into Northwest China.

In March, the representative office of Raven University in China was established at our university, representing Raven University in carrying out multi field and multi-level project cooperation.

In December, Principal Yang Fengyu was awarded the honorary title of "National Excellent Principal of Private Primary and Secondary Schools" by the China Private Education Association.

In November, Chairman Liu Yubo was awarded the honorable title of "Top Ten Influential Figures in Private Education in the 60 Years of New China" by the Chinese Educators Conference, and was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Council of the China Education Development Alliance.

In September, the international class of Bodi High School officially opened, marking a new era for Bodi in the introduction of first-class international educational resources and the establishment of diversified talent channels.

In June, the school jointly established the "Yun Enfeng Art Center" with renowned artist and singer Yun Enfeng.

Our international department was established in October, and we have established intercollegiate direct connections with universities in multiple countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, and South Korea, bringing together many world-class educational resources.

In September, our school's national Paralympic table tennis team achieved excellent results in 5 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

In June, the school was approved by the Hanban and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education as a "Chinese International Promotion Primary and Secondary School Base".

In September, the Table Tennis and Badminton Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China awarded our school the title of "National Key Table Tennis School".

In July, the Education Bureau of Xi'an approved Bodi Middle School as a city level art education characteristic school.

In January, the organizing committee of "Education Changes China", the Central Institute of Education of the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Representative Office of UNESCO, CCTV10, Sohu, and the China Charity Federation awarded our school the title of "Top 10 Brand (Private) Schools in China".

In December, the school was awarded the title of "Shaanxi Province Green Civilization Demonstration School" by the People's Government of Shaanxi Province.

In June, Feng Yuning from our school won the first place in the science department of the Shaanxi Provincial College Entrance Examination with a score of 729. This is the first top scorer in the college entrance examination in our province and also the first private high school in China to be admitted to Tsinghua University; Chen Xu was admitted to Peking University with a score of 707; Several students have been admitted to prestigious universities both domestically and internationally. Our school has been rated by Tencent as one of the top ten most popular schools in China, and has also entered the ranks of China's top 100 high schools.

Our school held the first opening ceremony for Korean international students, welcoming a total of 48 Korean students to study at our school, becoming one of the first provincial-level high schools to accept foreign students.

The People's Government of Yanta District, Xi'an City has awarded our school the title of "Excellent School" for quality education in ordinary high schools.

In October, Principal Yang Fengyu and three others represented Shaanxi Province's private education at the China Private Education Seminar held in Beijing.

In September, the Education Department of Shaanxi Province approved the promotion of Bodi Middle School to a provincial-level key high school.

In July, the Education Commission of Xi'an City approved the promotion of Bodi Primary School to a first-class primary school in Xi'an City; The People's Government of Xi'an City has awarded our school the title of "Landscape Unit".

In January, the Education Department of Shaanxi Province approved the admission of foreign students to our school.

In July, the Ministry of Education awarded the school the title of "National Advanced Collective for Moral Education in Primary and Secondary Schools".

In March, Principal Yang Fengyu visited South Korea with Director Hu Zhiben of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, marking the beginning of a friendly chapter in exchanges with South Korea.

Our school ranks first in the comprehensive evaluation by the Education Bureau of Xi'an City and has entered the ranks of famous schools in Shaanxi Province.

Located in Yuhuazhai, Yanta District, Xi'an City in January, covering an area of 225 acres, designed by Northwest Design Institute, the largest primary and secondary school campus in the northwest region was completed, and the school resumed normal operations on September 1st.

In October, the Education Department of Shaanxi Province awarded our school the titles of "Shaanxi Province Star School" and "Modern Education Experimental School".

In June, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education awarded our school the title of "exemplary organization for Running Schools by Social Forces in Shaanxi Province".

In July, more than 72 teachers and students from our school visited the United States. The reports from the overseas Chinese newspaper and the World Daily caused a sensation in various sectors of American society. Shaanxi Provincial Television followed up throughout the visit, opening a new chapter in international exchange at our school.

In August, over 300 teachers and students from Nishida Gakuen in Nara, Japan visited, marking the beginning of a 30-year history of teacher-student exchanges between the two schools.

In August, Principal Yang Fengyu and Chairman Shi Ruisheng jointly founded Bodi Middle School, and Yang Fengyu was appointed as the principal of Bodi Middle School.

On June 20th, the press conference on the establishment of the Sino foreign joint venture Xi'an Bodi Private Primary School was held at Xi'an No.1 Middle School. Cui Lintao, then Mayor of Xi'an, Fu Jide, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and leaders of the Provincial People's Congress, Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and Municipal Education Bureau attended the meeting and delivered important speeches.
