In the morning, I received a message from Mr. Yang, the principal of the school, saying that he was preparing for the 30th anniversary of Bodhi School, and I froze for a moment, it's been 30 years already. Thinking about the time when we entered the school as the first batch of Bodhi first-year students, it was the fall of 1994, we carried large bags of luggage to find their own dormitories, their own beds, a little bit of organization to the designated place to line up to meet, through the playground of the elementary school district, across the road, and then across the bridge to our junior high school building, I was in the first class, Mr. Zuo was our class teacher.
We spent six springs, summers, autumns and winters in Bodhi, I went from the first class of the first year, to the second class of the first year of high school, the school relocated from the mouth of the abundance of the school site, moved to the Yu Hua Zhai, and then to the arts and science division I entered the liberal arts class, and in this way our classmates in the interspersed division, from strangers to be familiar with the six-year period of time to study, live together, leaving a deep friendship of classmates.
After graduating from high school, I immigrated to Canada with my parents and have settled here for 22 years. From a naive teenager who never experienced the world to a mother who is now also experiencing her child's adolescence, over the years, when it comes to our middle school and high school life in Bodie, it always gives us a lot to remember and reminisce about! I remember early in the morning I looked outside the dormitory door to the rain, remember the smell of the soil after the rain, remember our spring trip in the mountains cooking scene, remember the exam before we memorized the picture of the creek, and run to the mountains to pick peach blossoms, snow in the snowball playground snowball fights, study sessions secretly read novels, dormitory lights out after the girls whispering. Years after the reunion, talking about these or let us feel that the feelings of that time so real and real ah!
In the blink of an eye, 6 years ago, we as the first Bodhi high school graduates left the school, now 23 years have passed, there are too many memories of Bodhi, flag speech, a variety of school celebrations, performances, as a student representative of the welcome of foreign guests, and the school went to Japan with the exchange of learning, to participate in the school organization of the summer camp in the United States, a scene like a movie replayed in the mind. During the six years we lived in the school, we learned to get along with others and take care of ourselves! Thanks to the principal and teachers who worked hard for us and accompanied us to spend the important 6 years of our lives!
